SERVICES TO NONPROFIT CHARITIES

Caprock Cycling Events, Inc., provides the following services to nonprofit organizations that wish to sponsor a public bicycle tour for publicity, public education, and fund-raising purposes:

• general liability insurance from United States Fidelity and Guaranty Company and participant medical insurance from Mutual of Omaha as administered by American General Insurance Services, Inc., for the League of American Bicyclists
• an event web site with provisions for online registration and payment
• advertising data base of bicyclists, bicycle shops, and fitness centers for use in mass mailings
• consultation on event planning including date and route selection, identification of volunteer and supply requirements, and event execution details
• prearranged purchase agreements and sponsorships for souvenir t-shirt design and printing, rest stop supplies, and event advertising

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE NONPROFIT CHARITIES

It is the responsibility of the sponsoring charitable organization to:

• provide leadership through an event steering committee
• solicit and secure individual and corporate sponsorships
• provide all staff and volunteers required for event preparations, day-of-the-event registration, rest stops, and SAG
