The Tour
The tour headquarters, registration center, and start/finish area will be at the Levelland City Park located at the intersection of McKinley St. and Avenue Q (city map). Riders for all tours will begin at 8:00 a.m.
The registration fee is $25. Register before Tuesday July 8 to receive a free T-shirt. On-site registration on July 12 begins at 7:00 a.m.
In spite of its name, the terrain surrounding "Levelland" is anything but flat and monotonous. Along the rides, you will find farmland, rangeland, canyons, and sandhills. Well supplied rest stops with cheerful and encouraging helpers will be located at approximately 20 mile intervals. For 2008, the 44, 75, and 109 mile routes include a rest stop at Girlstown USA. This a great chance to check out the place the girls call home.
